Short answer
Yes: your existing number stays yours and keeps working as it does today. The tracking script shows tracking numbers only to visitors on your website, and calls to them are forwarded to your phones.

What happens to your number?
Nothing changes for your existing number. It stays with your current provider, on your current plan, and everyone who already has it can keep calling it.
Call Tracking adds new numbers alongside it. On your website, the tracking script swaps your number for a tracking number, for each visitor while they browse. Your website's code and your Google Business Profile, signage and printed material keep your number.
Where do calls to the tracking numbers go?
Wherever you want them to go, usually your existing number or your phone system. Each tracking site has incoming call handlers that say where its calls go. The caller doesn't notice the difference. Call Tracking logs every call, and links it to the website visit that led to it where it can. To learn how, see Route incoming calls.
Can your existing number be a tracking number?
Yes, by porting it to Enfonica. Porting is arranged by Enfonica support: contact support with the number and your current provider.
Porting isn't needed to start tracking: you can keep your number where it is and add tracking numbers.
