Manage users and roles

Access to a Call Tracking project is controlled by roles. Give each person the smallest role that lets them do their job, and remove people who leave.

Project roles

Role Can
Owner Do everything an Editor can, plus invite and remove users and change roles.
Editor Create and change tracking sites, pools, numbers, routing, recording, integrations and reports, and edit call notes and labels.
Viewer View everything, including calls, recordings and reports. Can't change anything. Controls that need a higher role are shown disabled with the message "You do not have permission to perform this action."

The person who accepted the quote is the project's first Owner. Keep at least one Owner in the project at all times.

Enterprise accounts

The project's existing users keep their roles. Users are managed under Settings > Users, and the roles cover every Enfonica product in the project, with custom roles available. See Two kinds of accounts.

Invite a user

  1. In the Enfonica Console, open the project and click Users.
  2. Add the person's email address and choose a role.
  3. Send the invitation.

The person receives an email with an Accept your invite link, sets a password if they don't have an Enfonica account, and then sees the project.

Change a role or remove a user

  1. Click Users.
  2. Next to the user, change the role, or remove the user.

Changes apply straight away. A removed user loses access to the project's sites, calls and recordings but keeps any other projects they belong to.

Agency access

If an agency set up the account, the agency's team members have access to the project through the agency, not as individual project users. Agency team members with the Owner or Editor role in the agency can configure the project; agency Viewers can only view it. See Invite and manage team members.

To remove an agency's access to your project, contact Enfonica support through the contact page. Your data, numbers and billing stay with you.

Billing access

Billing is managed separately from project roles. The billing contact who accepted the quote can open the billing portal from the user menu. Agency team members don't have billing access to client accounts. See Manage billing and your plan.

Account security

Each user can change their password and turn on two-factor authentication from Account in the user menu. An organisation can require two-factor authentication for all its users.
