Catch missed calls¶
A missed call is a lead the business paid for and didn't answer. Call Tracking shows missed calls in every report and gives three ways to act on them.
See missed calls¶
- The site Overview shows % not answered for the last 7 days against the previous 7. See Read the site overview.
- In Tracked calls, add a filter on the outcome to list calls that were not answered, busy, rejected or failed. See Review tracked calls.
- In Explore, chart the percentage of calls not answered by day to find gaps in cover. See Build custom reports with Explore.
Send a daily missed-call email¶
The daily missed-call report lists yesterday's missed calls by source and campaign so someone at the business can call back. Add the business's contact as a recipient. See Schedule email reports.
Log missed calls in HubSpot with a follow-up task¶
With the HubSpot integration, missed calls are logged on the caller's contact with the outcome No answer, and Create follow-up task creates a high-priority task for the contact's owner, due in one hour. See Log calls in HubSpot.
Stop missing them¶
Use a Flow as the handler to ring a backup number when the first doesn't answer, and to take a voicemail that is emailed to the business with a transcript. See Business hours, failover and voicemail with Flow.
Missed calls and integrations¶
Missed calls aren't sent to Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 or Meta Ads unless you set the integration's minimum call duration to 0. They are sent to HubSpot when Push missed calls is on, and always to Zapier. See Integrations overview.
