Flow steps

A flow is made of steps. Each step does something with the call or routes it according to the call's details or the caller's input.

To configure a step, click it in the flow tree. Changes apply as soon as you make them.

Standard steps

Name Icon Description
Call Call icon Forward the call to one or more phone numbers or SIP endpoints.
Play Play icon Play audio to the caller from the media library or text-to-speech.
Menu Menu icon Offer the caller keypad options, with an exit for each key.
Date Date icon Route calls by date, for example on public holidays.
Time & Day Time and day icon Route calls by time of day and day of the week.
Route by Caller ID Route by caller ID icon Route calls by the caller's number, for priority callers or to block nuisance callers.
Route by State Route by state icon Route calls by the caller's state. Works with Australian 13, 1300 and 1800 numbers only.
Go To Go to icon Jump to another step in this flow, to another flow, or to a URI.
Proportional Proportional icon Split calls between paths by weight, for split testing or load balancing.
Record Record icon Record the call from a chosen point.
Voicemail Voicemail icon Take a voicemail and send it to recipients by email or SMS.
Fax Fax icon Receive a fax and send it to recipients by email or SMS.

Premium steps

Premium steps incur an additional charge per use.

Route by Postcode Route by postcode icon Ask the caller for a postcode and route to the nearest location. Australian postcodes only.
Route by Location Route by location icon Route the caller to the nearest location automatically. Australia only.
